Lima Xi is a seed-stage AI company developing a predictive intelligence platform for global air cargo and trade capacity. We are closing our seed round and executing toward a Series A at Month 18. Company leadership brings decades of experience across aviation, logistics and enterprise technology.
This is a ground-floor CFO role. The financial infrastructure is nascent — you will build it. The investor narrative is forming — you will sharpen it. You will report directly to the CEO and sit at the leadership table alongside the CTO and CSO.
We are particularly interested in candidates with meaningful China market exposure. Lima Xi's platform is built around the trade corridors connecting Greater China with the rest of the world — a CFO who understands that landscape brings immediate and lasting strategic value.

01Financial infrastructure
- Build the company's financial systems, processes and controls from the ground up
- Establish monthly reporting, management accounts and board-ready financial packs
- Manage cash flow, burn rate and runway with precision
- Ensure Hong Kong statutory compliance, multi-jurisdiction tax structuring and audit readiness
- Own cap table management, SAFE documentation and equity administration
02Fundraising & investor relations
- Lead financial due diligence for the seed close and Series A preparation
- Build institutional-grade financial models — ARR bridge, runway scenarios, unit economics
- Own the financial narrative in investor presentations and data rooms
- Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors on financial matters
03Strategic finance
- Own the financial model — forecasting, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis
- Translate SaaS and enterprise metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) into business intelligence
- Partner with the CEO on pricing architecture and resource allocation
- Drive the annual budget process and hold the business accountable to it
04China & Asia market finance
- Navigate financial and regulatory considerations across Greater China, Hong Kong and SEA
- Support commercial deal structuring with China-based airlines, forwarders and trade partners
- Advise on currency, treasury and cross-border financial flows for our corridor focus
What we're looking for
Essential
- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent by experience
- Proven track record in a VC-backed startup — Series A/B experience strongly preferred
- SAFE instrument fluency — you have administered or negotiated them before
- Cap table management experience — you know what a clean cap table looks like
- Exceptional financial modelling — ARR, runway, unit economics, scenario planning
- Strong English — you write a crisp investor memo, not just a spreadsheet
China & Asia expertise
- Meaningful experience operating in or across Greater China — PRC, Hong Kong or Taiwan
- Understanding of cross-border financial flows and regional regulatory nuance
- Mandarin proficiency — a significant advantage and strongly preferred
- Existing relationships in China's aviation, logistics or trade finance ecosystem are a genuine differentiator
Valuable experience
- CFO or VP Finance at a SaaS or enterprise technology company
- Taking a company through a Series A fundraise end to end
- Building finance functions from scratch — systems, processes, team
- Working across multiple jurisdictions (HK, Singapore, PRC, US, EU)
- Exposure to aviation, logistics, supply chain or trade finance verticals

Before you apply
What are the key financial milestones?
Seed close of USD $1M on a SAFE targeting Q3 2026, then a Series A at approximately Month 18. The revenue model targets $600K in 2027, $6M in 2028 and $30M in 2029.
Which entity would I be working across?
Lima Xi Technologies Limited is incorporated in Hong Kong SAR under the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622). Operations are based in Hong Kong, and the role spans both plus wider Greater China and SEA exposure.
Is Mandarin genuinely required?
Not required, but strongly preferred. Lima Xi's corridors centre on Greater China trade flows, so Mandarin proficiency and regional relationships add material strategic value.
Is this role remote?
Remote-friendly with Hong Kong as home base. We expect meaningful in-person time with the leadership team, but the role is not tied to a desk five days a week.
