Lima Xi is building predictive intelligence for air cargo corridors: a platform that connects geopolitical events, capacity, rates and operational constraints before their impact becomes obvious.
As Co-Founder and CTO, you will set the technical direction and remain hands-on. You will shape the data architecture, AI systems, product engineering and security posture while building the team that can take the platform from early customers to global scale.
This is a founder's role, not a maintenance role. You will make consequential architecture and product choices, speak directly with customers, and turn an ambitious vision into reliable software.

- Own the end-to-end technical strategy, architecture and roadmap
- Design for explainability, reliability and low-latency decision support
- Set pragmatic standards for security, privacy, observability and resilience
- Choose where to build, buy or partner without accumulating avoidable complexity
02AI, data & product
- Lead development of predictive models, agentic workflows and the data platform beneath them
- Turn fragmented aviation, trade and geopolitical signals into defensible product capabilities
- Partner with customers to validate decisions, workflows and measurable value
- Keep model performance, provenance and human oversight visible
03Engineering leadership
- Recruit and develop a small, exceptional distributed engineering team
- Build a culture of ownership, disciplined experimentation and frequent shipping
- Stay close to the code while creating systems that scale beyond any one person
- Own technical delivery, quality and engineering economics
04Company building
- Partner with the CEO on strategy, fundraising and enterprise relationships
- Represent the technology with customers, investors and strategic partners
- Translate commercial priorities into a focused technical plan
- Help shape the company, not only the product
What we're looking for
Essential
- Senior technical leadership in an AI, data or enterprise software product
- Evidence that you can architect and ship production systems, not only manage teams
- Strong judgment across data platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure and application architecture
- Experience hiring and leading high-performing engineers
- Clear English communication with technical and commercial audiences
AI & data depth
- Practical experience deploying machine-learning or agentic systems in production
- Understanding of evaluation, explainability, data quality and model risk
- Comfort integrating structured and unstructured data from many sources
- Ability to distinguish durable product advantage from an impressive demo
Founder character
- High ownership, low ego and a bias toward useful output
- Comfort with ambiguity, constrained resources and direct customer feedback
- Commercial curiosity: you care why a feature matters and who will pay for it
- Direct, calm communication when trade-offs are difficult
- Willingness to make the unglamorous foundations excellent
A genuine plus
- Prior founder or early technical executive experience
- Air cargo, aviation, logistics, supply chain or risk-intelligence exposure
- Experience selling technical products to large enterprises
- Knowledge of Hong Kong, mainland China and Asia-Pacific business environments

Before you apply
Is this genuinely a co-founder role?
Yes. The CTO will have meaningful founding equity, company-level responsibility and direct influence over strategy, product and fundraising—not simply an executive title.
How hands-on is the role?
Very hands-on initially. You should be comfortable making architecture decisions, reviewing and writing critical code, and building the first technical team as the company grows.
Which technical background fits best?
We value production experience across AI, data platforms and enterprise software more than a specific stack. Logistics or aviation experience is useful but not required.
Where is the role based?
The role is listed in Hong Kong, China and is remote-friendly. We expect meaningful overlap with Asia-Pacific working hours and periodic in-person collaboration.
